Unlike complex building elements, the regular specifications for window sills follow a clear pattern. Our configurator has taken advantage of this and leads the user in logical steps to the next input mask in order to make the input process as efficient as possible.

Product Types

You have the option of storing different product types for window sills. All feasible overhangs are recorded there, i.e. the buildable depths, priced accordingly and linked to the surfaces available for this product type.

The system remembers the stored discharges and supports you by automatically preassigning these values.

In order to configure a window sill, a window sill system must first be selected. Then you can choose the color you want. Once the color has been selected, the dimensions can be can be set. As soon as a variable width has been entered and a pre-assigned construction depth has been selected, all the necessary properties are available, as confirmed by the checklist in the side navigation. The software then automatically fills all other properties with the respective standard values, which can be individually defined in the system. At the same time, the graphic and the product description with detailed price information are generated. All other properties can then be adjusted in any order and also changed later. For interior window sills extended product configuration options for cuts and millings are available. If stored and selected, both attributes are shown true to scale in the sketch. For exterior sills, the selection and entry follows the same process, allowing consistent capture for interior and exterior sills. When saving, the configurator automatically checks the compiled version for buildability. If certain combinations or dimensions cannot be implemented, a corresponding message appears with a recommendation for action, otherwise the item will be included in the offer.
