Regardless of whether it is a roller shutter, a venetian blind, a pleated blind or a textile screen, the Fenzon configurator is structured in such a way that all can be handled in one configurator for a quick and easy pricing.

Product Types

Different product types can be stored for individual sun protection and privacy protection systems. These are based on the combination of box and curtain, which means that a box system with different curtains can be implemented - for example with Venetian blinds and roller shutter slats. This enables easy handling in the configurator, since changing the curtain does not require a new entry.

Visualization

Selected properties such as the box color and size, the color and visible width of the slats and end rails, as well as the dimensions and color of the guide rails are taken into account in the graphic representation.

This enables the user to get a better impression of the product and to quickly identify input errors.

In order to configure a shutter, a system must first be selected. The desired element type can then be specified. Which element types are available for selection depends on the stored properties of the shutter system. After the element type has been selected, the element dimensions appear and can be set. Once the width and height have been inserted, all required properties are in place, as confirmed by the checklist in the side navigation. The software then automatically fills all other properties with the respective standard values, which can be individually defined in the system. At the same time, the graphic and the product description with detailed price information are generated. All other attributes such as box variants, colors or guide rails can then be adjusted in any order and also changed later. Depending on the type of shading, different properties are available for roller shutters, venetian blinds and textile screens. However, the structure of the configurator and the input always follows the same process, which enables uniform handling regardless of the shading type. Different variants of slats can be stored as curtains in the software and selected in the configurator. The same applies to the respective drive types. When saving, the configurator automatically checks the compiled version for buildability. If certain combinations or dimensions cannot be built, a corresponding message appears with a recommendation for action, otherwise the item will be included in the offer.
