The SDK enables quick and easy integration of our product configurators and is therefore ideal for expanding the range of functions and products for online stores, whether open source, proprietary store systems or self-developed solutions.
The individual products and their properties, such as prices, buildability restrictions and available components, can be created and customized independently at any time in the Fenzon user interface.
It is also possible to call up products directly via Connect from manufacturers who have entered their product range there and activated it for their customers.
Products created independently or received via Connect can then be called up centrally via our interfaces, integrated into the respective product overview or product detail page of the store and displayed in a customized design.
All window, front door, garage door, sun protection, insect screen and window sill systems can be configured via two end points for calling up and updating by transferring the selected product type, product code and selected properties to the respective end point.
Once the configuration has been successfully saved and transferred to the relevant endpoint, it returns all the information for further processing and display in the shopping cart, such as product sketch, description and prices.
If saving is not possible due to unrealizable dimensions or combinations, the endpoint returns a restriction message with a recommendation for action.
To change products after they have been saved if necessary, the configured properties can simply be transferred to the endpoint to call up the configurator - this allows the entire configuration process to be implemented with access to just three API endpoints: Call, Update and Save.
The use of the SDK for online stores offers the maximum degree of flexibility, but in contrast to the web store solution with integrated web design tool, it requires programming knowledge and is therefore only suitable for projects where the necessary know-how is available in the company or the implementation is carried out by appropriate service providers.
