Product Types

Product types form a combination of opening types and element type. Up to six-part types can be selected in the system as an element type and linked to the existing opening types. Depending on the element type, this results in more than 27 billion possible combinations.

An individual price table can also be stored for each product type or an additive price determination - based on other product types - can be set.

Form Types

In addition to the regular rectangular design, shapes can also be applied to the selected element type in the Window Configurator. For these complex applications, the system offers the possibility of flexible pricing, which allows you to store flat rates, percentage surcharges or additional prices for non-right-angled profile joints.

that our software offers you when configuring windows.

In order to configure a window, a window system must first be selected. The desired element type can then be specified. Which and how many element types are available for selection depends on the stored properties of the window system. After the element type has been selected, the element dimensions appear and can be set. Once the width and height have been populated, all required properties are in place, as confirmed by the checklist in the side navigation. The software then automatically fills all other properties with the respective standard values, which can be individually defined in the system. At the same time, the graphic and the product description with detailed price information are generated. All other properties such as opening types, fittings or handles can then be adjusted in any order and also changed later. Graphically relevant components such as profiles have a direct effect on the sketch, which takes into account and displays the respective view widths true to scale. The same applies to color properties, handles and sashes. When saving, the configurator automatically checks the compiled version for buildability. If certain combinations or dimensions cannot be implemented, a corresponding message appears with a recommendation for action, otherwise the item will be included in the offer.
