Product Management

Articles

Through the main menu, you can access Product Management. Within this section, you can navigate to Articles through the General category in the sidebar.

Products and services can be recorded as articles. Depending on visibility settings, they are displayed accordingly.

Visibility	Description
Privat	The item is available only for personal quote creation.
Public	The item is displayed only in the webshop.
Global	The item is available for personal quote creation and in the webshop.

For the Code field, only numbers, letters, and underscores are supported. Spaces or special German characters (Umlauts) cannot be used in the code.

For illustrations, filenames can contain numbers, letters, underscores, and hyphens. Filenames with spaces, Umlauts, or unsupported special characters may not be consistently supported.

In addition to the name, three more fields are available to further specify the item:

Description: This appears as additional text in quotes.
Short Text: This is used in the webshop and is limited to 320 characters.
Long Text: This is used in the webshop, has no character limit, and supports HTML structures.

Complex Articles

The system allows for either the selection of a static article or an advanced attribute setup. There are two available options. Through the Dimensions field, you can set up measurement dimensions for an item, with the following options available:

Dimension	Description
1D	Input field for lengths in mm. Price basis: m.
2D	Input fields for width and height in mm. Price basis: m².
3D	Input fields for width, height, and depth in mm. Price basis: m³.

Additionally, you can add advanced attributes to articles, which can be set as either optional or mandatory fields. For each attribute, you can create multiple elements with surcharges, using the Add Elements button.
