Even with technically more demanding designs, the configurator supports you by allowing you to take size or combination restrictions into account.

Automatic dimension calculation

For room doors, based on the entered wall opening dimension, a suitable standard dimension for frame and door leaf is automatically determined, based on the respective adjustment ranges.

This eliminates the need for the user to manually calculate interior door dimensions. The system also takes into account the different dimensional chains for blunt and rebated door leaves as well as for single-leaf and double-leaf Version variants.

To configure an interior door, you first need to select an interior door system. The desired element type can then be specified. Which and how many element types are available for selection depends on the stored properties of the interior door system. In our example, you can choose between a one-part, two-part or three-part element type. The two-part variant then allows the design as an interior door with a side panel or with two door leaves. Once the panel type has been selected, the opening dimensions of the wall can be entered. As soon as the width and height have been filled in, all the required properties are available, as confirmed by the checklist in the side navigation. The software then automatically assigns all other properties with the respective default values, which can be individually defined in the system and calculates the corresponding door dimensions based on the opening dimensions entered. At the same time, the graphic and the product description with detailed price information are generated. All other attributes, such as opening types or individual infill properties, can then be adjusted in any order and also changed at a later date. Different properties can be selected depending on the stored design variants of the respective panel. Handles can be stored and displayed true to scale in the respective shape and color. When saving, the configurator automatically checks the compiled design for buildability. If certain combinations or dimensions are not feasible, a corresponding message with recommended action is displayed, otherwise the item is included in the quotation.
